What did I do wrong, I have 3 servers all runnig fine and the control panel says they are offline and gives the icon indication they are booting. doesnt bother usuage but the "green" light is cool to see. easier than checking the console all the time

If it's a custom server jar try renaming it to custom_server.jar

I've got this same issue, but the catch is that the custom server IS named "custom_server.jar" (and JAR File in Multicraft is set to point to "custom_server.jar" -- the default for "MOD: Custom Server"). Previously, this was actually working properly when I first installed the Direwolf20 1.12.2 (release 1.10) modpack.

However, ever since I upgraded it to Direwolf20 1.12.2 release 1.11, status perpetually shows as Offline, even though I can sign in normally, as can others. I've tried restarting it, renaming the JAR file to something else, naming it BACK to custom_server.jar -- with no luck. When I go through Minecraft and look at my saved multiplayer servers, it shows up THERE as active (all green bars). It's only the Multicraft control panel (and the generated status banner) that can't seem to figure it out.

Connected players DO show up under Connected Players on the Multicraft control panel, so that much works, at least.

Are there any other files Multicraft might be looking at, that perhaps I did not upgrade properly, that could be confusing it?

I do have what might be extraneous .jar files in the "jar" folder, though I don't know which ones I should delete (if any):

    custom_server.jar (datestamp 6/20/2018)

all others (below) are datestamp 5/17/2018 from when I first fumbled around to set up the server:
    forge-1.12.2-14.23.2.2627-universal.jar
    forge-1.12.2-14.23.3.2655-universal.jar
    minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar
    minecraft_server.jar

(The two last "minecraft_server*" files appear to be duplicates of each other -- same file size.)
