So I'm looking forward to buying a HostHorde unlimited server but I was wondering, since there was no 'buy a dedicated ip' I was wondering if we would get a dedicated ip adress? If not will we atlease get a number ip adress? Thanks.
We do not provide dedicated IP addresses. The address that we provide will look like s99.hosthorde.com:25599. You can use the IPv4 address (i.e: 192.125.32.12:25599) if you wish, however this may change in the future, so we do not recommend it. If you own a domain name, you can alias your server to that (i.e.: minecraft.yourdomain.com or minecraft.yourdomain.com:25599)
You can avoid typing in a port number by creating a custom server address for free, using http://hosthorde.com/free-subdomain/, or by using your own domain name as your server address, with an SRV record: https://www.hosthorde.com/forums/resources/setting-up-a-custom-server-address.63/
